The historic Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria resort, has served as a playground for the rich and famous, a honeymoon spot for actors Clark Gable and Carole Lombard and a retreat for every U.S. president from Herbert Hoover through George W. Bush. SFA Design’s vision for the multi-million dollar renovation was inspired by the resort’s historical and architectural significance. With respect to the indigenous materials used throughout the resort, SFA chose colors that emulate the natural tones of the surrounding desert scenery. The use of bronze and gold metals, create a distinguished ambiance of grandeur which is befitting of this desert oasis.
