A Space That Defies StereotypesThe redesign challenges the traditional law firm aesthetic, replacing mahogany desks and leather chairs with raw, minimalist architecture and a bold art collection. Flexibility is at the heart of the concept: no assigned desks, modular furniture on wheels, and an open-plan layout allow the space to shift seamlessly from office to event space to social venue.

Art as an Experience, Not DecorationEntering Dottir’s headquarters feels more like stepping into a contemporary art gallery than a corporate office. Works by some of Finland’s most provocative artists, including graffiti pioneer EGS and visual artist Riiko Sakkinen, dominate the space, creating a constant dialogue between law and artistic expression. Nordic Cool with an EdgeKOKO3’s design strips the space down to its essentials, embracing spatial clarity, focused lighting, and a monochrome palette paired with deep red accents drawn from the building’s historical roots. Custom-built furniture reinforces the clean-cut aesthetic, while statement pieces—like the Finnish-designed Visio chair by Yrjö Wiherheimo and Simo Heikkilä—add an 80´s post modernistic touch.
