- Arm Candy, an advertising and media agency, recently tapped the designers at Perkins&Will to create a dynamic space that harnesses the creativity of its team. By translating the company’s digital presence into a physical space, the design team created an energetic and playful office that blends modern elements with industrial chic design.
- While flexible, the plan doesn’t follow a basic open office layout. Instead, designers offered the team a unique sense of space by arranging work neighborhoods. The plan is split between the two distinct neighborhoods, a central hub—comprising differently scaled huddle spaces, and conference rooms. This creates a variety of destinations at every turn with each nook being an opportunity for impromptu social moments and collaboration.
- While the layout encourages interaction, it’s color that electrifies the space. Integration of Arm Candy’s purple, yellow, and pink loops the central hub in a rhythmic supergraphic, swooping from floor to ceiling across walls and glazing. High-saturation colors bathe the interior of the conference rooms and huddle spaces, making a jewel piece of this central hub.
