These set of images are part of a project called 'Repressed Memories'. The genius behind the story comes from Leonardo Anker Vandal, a visionary artist which I had the honor to work with for well over a year. I fell intimately attached to the emotions that fueled our conversations, and from this collaboration I am proud of presenting the work of art. These artworks serve as integral components of the expansive 'Imaginary Songs' project, a profound exploration into the intricate tapestry of our collective mental well-being on a grand scale.Repressed Memories consists on a tower approximately 16m high and made with 30.000 decoy birdcages. The work concentrates itself on several diagnoses, such as: schizotypal personality disorder, borderline personality disorder, depression, anxiety, avoidant/social personality disorder and what antithesis that occurs from diagnosis and to the prejudice we from being uninformed.I am so grateful of being part of this project through my visuals, especially because a kind artist such as Leonardo helps to self-explore on a very deep level.
