The center stage of this outlets comprises of a open kitchen, Bar and DJ both, these three areas are all intertwined where Bar becomes kitchen and kitchen becomes bar. Guests are seated on what look to be floating platforms around the center kitchen or directly at the bar that runs around the center attraction. Provincia Restaurant has Italian roots with Mediterranean accents in an upbeat venue where you can get a great pizza, pasta or a variety of tapa style appetizers to share. Provincia is Beijing’s first kitchen and bar theatre where guests can observe bartenders, Chefs and DJ’s all on center stage performing in the restaurant. Despite the name the outlets design and décor is cutting edge contemporary with a Mediterranean twist, Large over sized Tuscan doors welcome guest upon arrival, polished concrete mask the lower level floor, this gives way to wooden floor boards as guest walk up to the seating area. Chairs and tables are combination of lounge and lover dining style in the up areas and higher bar style around the lower levels. Pin spot lighting is use on every table in what is of wise a dark area. Stage lighting is used over and around theater kitchen changes color periodically. Strong use of color tones within the theater area and add existent to area. While Mediterranean images are project onto glass at the rear of the kitchen to create additional interest. Menus is mainly tapas style dishes and guest are encouraged to order small plates of shared items. However full main course are available, and a wood fire oven in the center of the outlet turns out pizzas, lamb racks and bake vegetable dishes. Signature dish is what’s marked on the menu as plank cuisine, these are a section of tasting items set in small bowls and presented at the table on rustic wood planks, Wines by the glass are the cornerstone of the beverage menu and a wine de vin is clearly visible in the theater.
