These otherworldly and evocative photographs, aptly titled Found My Moon, are a collaboration between Acorn Studio, the designer of the Luna lamp and Hong Kong fashion photographer Leungmo (Leung Yat Ting).

“You came to this planet alone, having no one to talk to. Wishing someday you will find a heart warming moon and live together,” quotes the statement for the photographic series.

The Luna lamp, the hero of the shots, is stunningly inspired by nature. It is part lighting module, part art piece. Whilst it’s designed to be a realistic interpretation of the moon, it goes far beyond just a physical representation. It feels like a connection to something magical and ethereal.

These series of photographs create a mood that lifts you outside of your day-to-day minutia. It takes you to a place you realise you haven’t spent enough time in lately – a place of wonder, of delight, and of questioning your place in the universe.

And as an aside… it also really makes you want to buy the lamp!
