Gensler realized the spatial design for the showroom of office furniture manufacturer, Knoll, located in Chicago, Illinois.
Knoll Showroom located in Chicago, Illinois and the space was about transforming Knoll from a showroom to a destination. A mix of hospitality-focused social and collaborative environments set the stage for their departure from the Merchandise Mart. Flooded with natural daylight from the installed skylight, the two-story atrium is connected by a locally fabricated chrome and bronze brand marquee.
The main gathering spot, our hospitality bar was inspired by the Lunario and Antenna Tables, which is surrounded by iconic materials and details found in Knoll’s product line. With Knoll on floors 6 and 7, the 5th floor was designed with a unique concept and finish palette for their new Scandinavian brand, Muuto.
