November 2018 in the lively neighborhood of Montmartre, Covivio opened a new pro-working space – Wellio, the first ever pro-working network in Europe. Wellio Paris Montmartre is located in the first floor of an old manufacturing building in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
Far from the traditional and partitioned offices and noisy open-plan offices, their offers and services are indeed based on the companies’ new requirements of in terms of work. The offer responds to a real demand for flexibility and nomadism of employees, who can use this new place to exacerbate their creativity. This is actually highlighted by the space lay-out and interior design by Saguez & Partners and by the choice of furniture by Cider.
Located rue Marcadet, Wellio Montmartre pro-working space is widely inspired by the sporting values like team spirit, sharing and collaboration. The program has been built in collaboration with Covivio’s tenant of the building : Orange. This all place is made to create emulation between resident start-ups at the coworking and Orange’s teams, through agile spaces. The 1,500 .0m² space is thought out to stimulate the users as well as their creativity and productivity.
Wellio Paris Montmartre – designed by the Saguez & Partners teams and taking the sporting values over – is therefore playful, inspiring and connected. It promotes exchanges and innovation. Zones are delimited according to their functions and their name are always recalling the world of sports.
The “Playground” is the main area and is adjustable thanks to « Les Compagnons », tailor-made furniture designed by Saguez & Partners, with white panels on wheels and IT connections also serving as partitions and whiteboards. It can be used as a work, reflection or meeting room. The “Tribune” is an amphitheater concealed behind sliding walls and can accommodate up to 90 people. The Green is a room which can be divided into 2 small spaces with adjustable furniture and smart boards to serve creativity. The “Vestiaire” is an area with benches and secure lockers available to store one’s belongings. There are even more specific spaces such as the “Labo”, an area of prototyping; the Virtual Room for Orange team’s experience, the Boxes as traditional meeting rooms and the “Core Team Space”, an office for the programming of the place.
The colors of the place are voluntarily bright, recalling the energetic atmosphere of the stadiums and gymnasiums. One color has been attributed for each use, contrasting with the concrete architecture. The entire project is therefore modular and flexible, meeting the new needs of workers who are more and more nomadic and connected, but also meeting the traditional needs of calm and concentration.
Wellio Montmartre therefore provides an environment conducive to concentration and cooperation for all kinds of companies in need of pro-working spaces. From start-ups to large groups such as Orange but also to entrepreneurs and self-employed workers, Wellio welcomes them in a dynamic and bustling with activity neighborhood, with shops and public transport nearby.
