西鸽酒庄选址于宁夏贺兰山东麓鸽子山,这里地势平坦、一望无垠。黄壤、碎砾、骆驼刺与沙棘,构成了这里的全部景观地貌,销形蚀骨的烽火台与坍圮断壁的明长城,让苍莽荒觉变得更加有据可循。但正如丹托在《寻常物的嬗变》中所言,即使在最无可能的地方,也可以发现生命的力量与平凡的美。

Xige Estate is located in Pigeon Mountain, the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, Ningxia, where the terrain is flat and boundless. Yellow soil, fine gravel, camel thorn and sea-buckthorn constitute the whole landscape here. The broken beacon towers and the collapsed Great Wall of Ming Dynasty make the boundless desolation become more evidence-based. But as Arthur C. Danto said in The Transfiguration of the Commonplace, the life force and the ordinary beauty can be found even in the most impossible places.

在这里,庄主张言志看到了适合葡萄种植的产区优势,而设计师看到的是这里的贫瘠和倔强:贫瘠得像一块石头,倔强得像一块石头。大野洋子在《葡萄柚》开篇中自问自答道:“你想在哪里度过永恒?——威尔士的一块石头里。”——在一块石头里度过永恒,这是听起来何等美妙。不管这块石头是在威尔士还是在宁夏,都想钻进去看一看,带出它的美妙来。无论对于庄主还是设计师,葡萄树或石头,以及生活在这里的当地人,“贫瘠”和“倔强”是共同的底色。而今,西鸽的第一瓶葡萄酒在中外葡萄酒行业打出大大的高差,勃艮第、波尔多的酿酒师们纷纷引颈,西鸽酒庄的“倔强”第一次有了新的象征。
The owner Yanzhi Zhang has seen the regional advantages suitable for grape planting here, while what the designer has seen is its barrenness and stubbornness, just like a stone. In the beginning of “Grapefruit”, Yoko Ono asked herself, “where do you want to spend eternity? — In a stone in Wales. ” How wonderful it sounds to spend eternity in a stone! Whether this stone is in Wales or Ningxia, the designer wants to drill in and have a look, and bring out its beauty. No matter for the owner or the designer, the grape tree or stone, and the local people living here, “barren” and “stubborn” are the common background. Now, the first bottle of Xige wine has made a big difference in the domestic and foreign wine industry, which has attracted the attention and praise of Burgundy and Bordeaux winemakers. For the first time, Xige Estate’s “stubbornness” has a new symbol.

01. 坚硬之石,向内部指引
Hard Stone, Guide to The Inside
读懂了宁夏的石头,也就理解了西鸽酒庄的生成逻辑。于设计师来看,宁夏的石头,就像是贺兰山上滚撒的葡萄。将这些四处散落的“葡萄”,从荒野之中捡拾、收集、聚拢,便有了西鸽酒庄的石砌圆墙。
If you understand the stones of Ningxia, you will understand the formation logic of Xige Estate. In the designer’s opinion, the stones in Ningxia are like the rolling grapes on Helan Mountain. He collected and gathered these scattered “grapes” from the wilderness, thus forming the stone round wall of Xige Estate.

依循石砌圆墙,向内构筑。其外形,宛若一颗硕大的葡萄切片,以自然生长的姿态,低低地俯卧于万亩葡萄园之中;其内部,生产车间、橡木桶酒窖、办公区、品鉴区、有机餐厅、户外花园、酒店客房等,清楚明晰地割据于“葡萄”的组织结构当中,只需一个飞鸟式的俯瞰,便能一目了然。
The whole winery is built inward according to the round stone wall. Its appearance is like the section of a huge grape, lying in the ten thousand mu of vineyard with the attitude of natural growth. In its interior, the production workshop, oak barrel cellar, office area, tasting area, organic restaurant, outdoor garden, hotel rooms, etc. are clearly divided in the “grape” organizational structure, which can be seen at a glance with a bird like overlooking.

又或者立于缓坡之上,在目力所及的范围内,这个以石为钥的巨型圆场,微微起伏又缓缓聚拢,与风力发电铁塔、高压输电线形成这里最具景观特质的生命气象。
When people stand on the gentle slope and within the range of their eyesight, the huge circle with stone as the key point gently rises and falls and slowly gathers, forming the most landscape life atmosphere here with wind power tower and high-voltage transmission line.

如此,在广袤的宁夏,从处理石头的经验开始,一场与未知、挑战、冒险皆而有之的设计发生了。石头不再是封闭的实心之物,不再是冰冷的废岩,它变成了最小单位体的力量之源,变成了可承载可依赖的精神容器。
Therefore, in the vast Ningxia, from the experience of dealing with stones, a design with the unknown, the challenge and the adventure has taken place. Instead of being a closed solid object, a cold waste rock, stone becomes the source of strength of the smallest unit, and a spiritual vessel that can be carried and relied on.

02.在地精神的空间转译
Spatial Interpretation of Local Spirit
大小两圆相切,切点为入口。从口入,以一定弧度的转向,横穿小圆,偏向西北偏位上又设一门,门有盘口,硕大,粗粝的标志烙印其上。门是厚重的木门,推开,如此进来,才算真正抵达西鸽酒庄室内。

Enter from the entrance, turn in a certain arc and cross the small circle. We have set up a heavy wooden door in the northwest direction, which is branded with a coarse logo. Push the door and enter, it is the real arrival of Xige Estate.
▼木门,wooden door ©邵峰 进入中庭,豁然有水景相迎,立于玻璃穹顶之下,水面平静,围廊立柱沙砾相映其中,并以其内外分流的形式,呼应着围廊立柱的空间感和秩序感。再移一贺兰山石,置于水中央,水石之间,刚柔并济,确立着酒庄沉稳、浑朴、自然而然的气质,并以恬淡静谧平衡坚硬冥顽,显露出大山大水的开合,滋养起生命张弛的力量。
Entering the atrium, the water features stand under the glass dome. The peripteral columns and gravel are reflected on the calm water surface, and the form of internal and external diversion echoes the sense of space and order of the peripteral columns. A piece of Helan Mountain Stone is placed in the center of the water. Between the water and the stone, firm and softness are combined to establish the stable, simple and natural temperament of the winery, balance the hardness with the tranquility, revealing the opening and closing of the magnificent landscape, and nourishing the power of life relaxation.

In the process of indoor treatment, the designer takes the guidance of “local spirit”, such as borrowing the concept of “wine cellar”. The top connecting the left and right wine display shelves and the passage is processed into an abstract arc through dislocation and crossing, which not only conforms to the local culture of Ningxia, but also responds to the dome shape at the top of the enclosed space.
▼酒品陈列空间,display area ©邵峰 ▼陈列空间细部,display area detailed view ©邵峰 ▼抽象的弧形,the abstract arc ©邵峰 阅读区依循贺兰山山势起伏的屋顶,亦是如此。设计师通过可回收的虫蚀柚木,用拼接的方式构建阅读区的顶面结构,成为延绵起伏的贺兰山脉的延续。在顶面结构与结构的缝隙之间,温暖的阳光透过天窗洒进来,撒落于书架上,沙发前,以及字里行间。这种形态上的致意,并非浮光掠影的浅尝辄止,而是一种内外相应的深层推敲,一如庄子在《天下篇》中所说,“至大无外,至小无内”。这份直觉与思考,就如同顶级品酒师,在一瞬间把握住一瓶葡萄酒的产地、年份、葡萄生长的气候甚至于酿造师当时的心境一样。
The same is true for reading area’s rolling roof that follow the situation of Helan Mountain. By means of splicing the recyclable insect-eroded teak, the designer constructed the top structure of the reading area , which is the continuation of the rolling Helan Mountains. In the gap between the top structure and the structure, the warm sunlight comes in through the skylight and spreads on the bookshelf and in front of the sofa. This kind of formal compliments is not a superficial taste, but a corresponding deep deliberation inside and outside, just as Chuang Tzu said in the “Under Heaven”, “without great any more, without small any more”. This intuition and thinking is just like the top wine connoisseur can grasp the origin, year, climate and even the mood of the winemaker in a moment.

▼顶面结构成为延绵起伏的贺兰山脉的延续,the ceiling structure of the reading area is the continuation of the rolling Helan Mountains ©邵峰 ▼走廊,corridor ©邵峰 ▼吧台区域,bar counter ©邵峰 阅读区与庭院相连。庭院内依旧是宁夏自然的地貌,澄黄的砂石、叶色灰蓝枝干锈红的红柳、低伏的骆驼刺和沙棘,随意曲线的石板步道,堆砌巨石,错落成景,再加上圆形外墙逶迤弯曲的弧线,阳光满地,置身庭院方寸之间,有如酒庄外的苍莽以一定比例,浓缩进人文气息浓厚的取景框里,被驯服的同时,依旧保持着自然而然的力量。
The reading area is connected to the courtyard. The interior of the courtyard still continues the natural landscape of Ningxia. The yellow sandstone, red willow, camel thorn and sea sea-buckthorn, randomly curved stone footpath, stacked boulders, plus the curved arc of the circular outer wall and the the full sunlight. Let the people in the courtyard feel that the boundless outside the winery is like being condensed into a frame full of humanistic atmosphere in a certain proportion, being tamed while still maintaining the natural power.

Encountering on The Bridge, Slightly Drunk
一组楼梯沿一楼玻璃幕墙向顶部延伸,室外的日光从右侧上空倾泻下来,光影随身体舞动,绯红的框型结构柱依次排开,强烈的仪式感由此生发,这是人对场景的敬畏,也是光对场景的洗礼。
The stairs extend along the glass curtain wall of the first floor to the top, and the outdoor sunlight pours down from the right side. The light and shadow dance with the body, and the crimson frame structure columns are arranged in turn. The strong sense of ceremony comes from this, which is people’s awe to the scene and the baptism of the light to the scene.

参观通道与生产通道彻底分开,独立存在于车间上层,既保证了车间生产作业不受影响,也赋予了参观视野绝佳的开阔性。在这里,来自新西兰、法国、德国、意大利的先进设施设备,通过组建投入生产酿造过程,满足着酒庄每天200-300吨的葡萄处理能力和每年10000吨的罐储需求,保证着葡萄酒酿造过程中的高品质和稳定性。
The visit channel is completely separated from the production channel and is independent of the upper level of the workshop, which not only ensures that the production operation of the workshop is not affected, but also endows the visit vision with excellent openness. Here, the advanced facilities and equipment from New Zealand, France, Germany and Italy are put into production and brewing process through establishment. They meet the winery’s 200-300 tons of grape processing capacity and 10000 tons of tank storage demand every year, ensuring the high quality and stability in the wine brewing process.

站立于参观平台的独立通道上,可以看到A/B车间8000平米面积的锥形不锈钢罐发酵组、酒窖里呈矩阵排列静如婴儿的大小规格的橡木桶、干净且有序作业的灌装车间,监控酿造过程中各项指标与数据的实验室……除此之外,肆溢于各个车间之间微醺的酒香和目及到生产这整个过程,更是令人在期待中有了更多的敬意。
Standing on the independent channel of the visiting platform, you can see the 8000 square meter conical stainless steel tank fermentation group in A / B workshop, the matrix of oak barrels in the cellar, the clean and orderly filling workshop, and the laboratory monitoring the indicators and data in the brewing process. In addition, the wine bouquet in all workshops and the whole process of production, are more respected in the expectation.

04.让渡,把空间还给时间
Transference, Give Space Back to Time
葡萄酒的发酵离不开时间的积累,空间亦然。在西鸽酒庄,空间的时间属性通过光洁的水磨石、虫蚀柚木、亚麻植物染布、手作器皿和温润的老物件散发出来,最后凝聚在了西鸽内部空间的日常情绪里。
The wine fermentation is inseparable from the accumulation of time, and so is space. In Xige Estate, the time attribute of space is radiated by smooth terrazzo, insect-eroded teak, linen plant dyeing, hand-made utensils and warm old objects, and finally condensed in the daily mood of the inner space.

置于西南侧的玉鸽有机餐厅,因空间场域与生活、日常闲暇的交织叠印,空间中有了更多举重若轻的结构处理,自由设置的餐位、退让出去并与自然接触的阳台、深灰色灵动的圆形楼梯、近在眼前的丰茂的葡萄园、手工打磨的老藤门把手……人置身于此,背靠沙发,与古老烽火台对望,阳光在脚边游移,一切都显得自然而惬意。
In the Yuge organic restaurant in the southwest, there are more structural treatments in the space, such as the freely set table, the balcony that retreats and contacts with the nature, the dark gray flexible circular stairs, the lush vineyard, and the hand polished old rattan door handle. Back on the sofa, facing the ancient beacon tower, the sun moving at feet, everything seems natural and comfortable.

▼用餐区,dining area ©邵峰 ▼阳台,terrace ©邵峰 而后穿行至两扇木门,推入,重起叠错的颜色终于酒店走廊的尽头。情绪在这里刹时轻快,忍不住想要快步掠影,留下一刻时的气息在身后的墙面上互衬着。
Walking through the two wooden doors and push them open to enter. The overlapping color ends at the end of the hotel corridor. The mood becomes relaxed and happy here, which makes people want to take a quick walk and leave a moment’s breath on the wall behind to set off each other.

▼楼梯,stair ©邵峰 此刻若是落日时,窗帘便聚着光,被植物浸染在面料上的颜色包裹着每一间屋子。这些色彩也曾出现在酒庄周围的山坡上,被薄雾笼罩的石缝间,从春至冬,和那些倔强的石头一样,被深深印在了设计师的记忆里。
At this moment, if it is sunset, the curtains will gather light, and the color of plants soaked in the fabric will wrap each room. These colors have also appeared on the hillside around the winery, between the stone crevices shrouded in mist, from spring to winter, like those stubborn stones, are deeply impressed in the designer’s memory.

抬高的榻榻米式大床房,深色的原木地板铺地,极简的家具,柔软的床垫和沙发,会呼吸的棉麻布艺,给人最温和贴切的身体触觉。在这个并不大的客房空间里,我们希望能在简单的形式之内,赋予每一个当下和关乎身体直接的记忆。
The raised tatami type big bed room, the dark wood floor, the minimalist furniture, the soft mattress and sofa, the breathable cotton and linen cloth art, give people the most gentle and appropriate body touch. In this not big room, we hope to give everyone a unique memory in a simple form.

银川的冬日漫长,居所在这里成了温暖的向往,丰富的颜色也尤为短暂,处在这些向往和短暂的片段里,时间被人感知到的情绪眷待着,而空间也经由时间温润着,这一切都与自然的力量有关,与生命的力量有关。
Yinchuan has a long winter, and the residence here has become a warm yearning, and its rich colors are particularly short. Here, time seems to be particularly long, and space is also warm through time, all of which are related to the power of nature and life.

▼平台光影,light and shadow ©李恒 一年后的今天,西鸽酒庄完美的呈现于人们的视野面前,作为设计师想要精确的阐述种种感受,却觉得言词不尽。当一个项目从设计到将其赋予完整的过程中,可以获得这么多的感动和愉快时,就足以理解,感情被安置在何处,设计便体现在何处。整个设计以激烈开头,以轻缓收尾,石头的执拗与倔强,最后无可避免地让渡给了时光的静谧与质朴。
Today, a year later, Xige Estate is perfectly presented in front of people’s vision. As a designer, he wants to elaborate all kinds of feelings accurately, but he thinks that words are endless. When a project can get so much moving and happy from the design to the whole process of giving it, it is enough to understand where the feelings are placed and where the design is embodied. The whole design starts with fierce, ends with gentle, stubborn stone, and finally inevitably gives way to the tranquility and simplicity of time.
