位于香港坚尼地城的游泳馆于年初落成。该游泳馆包含两个50米长场景空间和室外标准泳池，一个室外嬉水池和户外按摩浴池，以及一个场景空间训练泳池。与此同时，市民还可以享受在建築顶棚荫蔽下的开放花园。场地紧邻维多利亚港，在坚尼地城游泳馆的带动下，这个被遗忘和荒废的角落获得了第二次生命。

“我们立足坚尼地城开发项目已近十年光景，”Farrells的负责人Stefan Krummeck说道。“这里是香港最有特色的地方之一，我们希望用独特的建築形态，将这座游泳馆打造成全新的社区活动中心。”“We have been working in Kennedy Town now for nearly a decade,” commented Stefan Krummeck, a director at Farrells. “This is one of the most exciting and characterful districts in Hong Kong, and we sought to contribute to that by designing this pool as a new community hub with a dynamic architectural form.”

建築以其独特的贝壳形态嵌入三角形场地中。坚尼地城的主要道路和电车入口在此经停，彰显出该处的地标性地位。巨大的锌板屋顶预示了该项目的复杂性：户外泳池面向维多利亚港享受宽广视野，并保护游泳者不受室外嘈杂交通的侵扰。基于锌板的自我修复特性，这个前后间隔6年，共分两期建造的工程，其周身展现出完美的一致性。

立面及屋顶材料的选择以质轻，透明，遮阳和可满足大跨度建造的能力为标准。建築采用具有高性能PVB层压夹层玻璃作为幕墙，而以隔热PTFE薄膜为材料的采光屋顶，使建築沐浴在温暖、散漫的自然光下。可调节的窗户帮助场景空间自然通风，有效减少了对空调的依赖。
