Kate moved to New York at the age of 24 when Bergdorf Goodman's work. She met hercurrent husband: Dutch furniture designer Frans van der Heijden, and soon sheleft Bergdorf, during which they bought a house in the deep countryside ofsouthwestern France and had two lovely sons. Why in the 90s they eventuallyreturned to Amsterdam and settled here!
