Located in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, this attractive contemporary family home spreads over 450 square meters and provides luxurious settings to live a desirable lifestyle. Imagine waking up in this fascinating dream home and not knowing in which of its three Mediterranean gardens to drink your coffee and have breakfast with the family. Because this may look like a set from a movie, but it’s actually a home built for a modern family. The L-shaped dream home was imagined by Paz Gersh Architects to be filled with children laughing in an almost transparent indoor-outdoor environment, perfect for keeping an eye on the kids’ well being.
Photographed by Amit Geron, this sleek family home is a concrete building where metal, stucco, glass and wood merge to shape an elegant atmosphere. Children will grow up to appreciate details like parquet wood floors or the carefully built transition between indoors and outdoors. The upbeat interior design was done by interior architect Michal Keinan Sinai, who made the L-shaped villa feel like a family heaven. The kitchen, dining, library, and living room are arranged on the ground floor around the pool area, while the upstairs was reserved for the master suite. In order to be connected to the upstairs, bedrooms were imagined on the lower floor as creating a smooth vertical flow between spaces. A large master suite opening to a roof garden takes central stage upstairs. Built for the parents, who have a complete view of the pool area and floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors keep a constant connection to the outdoors. Upper windows have wooden louvers that filter sunlight into the master suite, creating the desired atmosphere. Mediterranean architectural elements were combined with a clean modern aesthetic based on precise proportions. Framing carefully contoured gardens, generous windows keep a constant visual connection to the landscaped scenery. Enjoy!
