简介：STUDIO CD is led by creative director Claire Driscoll Delmar and practises within the creative spheres of residential and commercial interior design projects, residential and commercial styling projects, interior and food editorial styling, concept stores and merchandising, interior and cookbook styling, advertising campaigns and TVC’s. Alongside her practise Claire ignites creativity through personal creative projects such as the STILL art exhibition curated with photographer Felix Forest, and her blog The Palate Project where she shares her insights, latest press releases and ever evolving love of food, travel, styling and ceramics collection. Known for creating deep emotion and feeling within spaces and vignettes her expert use of texture, materiality, tone and colour sees her as one of Australia’s well known creatives. Claire’s intrinsic creativity is expressed through a varied styling career which began after completing a Bachelor of Media degree and work experience placement in Marie Claire Magazine. From here she stepped into the editorial world as a fashion stylist for five years until deciding to focus her passion on the world of interiors. This pivot saw Claire succeed into the role of Style Director for Home Beautiful magazine until 2006 where she made the decision to step away from the editorial world and share her knowledge and experience at the Whitehouse School of Design. Starting as the Style and Design Co-Ordinator Claire progressed to Department Head of the Advanced Diploma of Styling and Design coordination. Claire’s love of editorial work lured her back from teaching to publishing and she became the Style Editor for Inside Out magazine where she was able to develop her passion within the interiors realm, and at the forefront of design, freely develop her style in a nurturing and creative environment. Back in the creativity of styling Claire followed work overseas to freelance roles in London working for renowned Elle Decoration and Living Etc magazines, as well as many advertising and commercial clients. Her extensive travels and passion for art and design directly stimulate her work and provide continued inspiration and ideas. Upon returning to Australia Claire built up her own studio and continued pursuing freelance styling expanding her skills into the culinary world for Gourmet Traveller magazine, along with exciting conceptual work within the advertising industry. Today the studio works on their own design projects along with some of Australia’s well know architects including Alexander &CO., Arent & Pyke, Studio Gorman and Tom Mark Henry to name a few, as well as clients such as Armadillo & co, Jack + Jac, King Living and Robert Plumb. They can also be seen in both Australian and international publications such as Vogue Living, Elle Decoration, Est Magazine, Design Anthology, Art edit, Yatzer, Inside Out and many more.
