Evolving from the Hobart architectural practice founded by Harry Hope in the 1930’s, JAWS Architects has grown to become an innovative, multi-award winning architectural design practice that values the past and embraces the future.
Based in Hobart, and with offices in Launceston and Melbourne, JAWS Architects is led by Directors Neal Mackintosh and Scott Verdouw, with associates Fiona Graham, Catherine Williams and Hanz Lee and a talented and passionate team of passionate designers and architects.
Our unique design process ensures that the best and most exciting ideas are realised in extraordinary architecture and design solutions.
JAWS Architects have a diverse project portfolio which includes tourism,education, sport, health, local government , commercial and residential projects, as well as urban design, interior design and heritage and building conservation projects and adaptive reuse.
