As much a part of Arper's identity as it is a testament to enduring
design,Catifa 53 is the piece that started it all.Designed by Lievore
Altherr Molina,Catifa 53's graceful curves and sleek,sensuous
silhouette are achieved through an economy of materials-and an
exclusive manufacturing process pioneered by Arper to synthesize
concept,form,and production.
Catifa Up,taking after Catifa 53,features a higher backrest and
newly designed optional armrests.Catifa Up is available with
trestle base and 5-way base,both available with castors or glides
versions;it can be customized with all the upholstery finishes listed
in the catalogue.Catifa Up Soft features a double cushion,a soft
upholstery that can improve the seating comfort in meeting and
conference rooms,offices,and residential study rooms.

Manuel Molina in 1991.Their humanist
design approach is informed by the

method that engages furniture.
