Design on a Dime Fundraiser
In 2004, Ford founded the fundraiser Design on a Dime, which has raised more than 20 million dollars since its inception. At the annual event, top designers come together to create unique room vignettes with curated merchandise - all for sale to the design-savy attendees. Proceeds go toward Housing Works' initiative to end homlessness and AIDS in New York City.
